Ingredients: 1 tsp baking soda,4 oz bittersweet chocolate chips,2 large eggs,2 cup all-purpose flour,2¼ cup all-purpose flour,½ cup granulated sugar,2 tbsp heavy whipping cream,½ cup light brown sugar,½ cup light brown sugar,¼ cup 0% plain greek yogurt,½ tsp salt,10 oz semi sweet chocolate chips,½ cup unsalted butter, softened,1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder,1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350.Coat a 9 x 13 inch square baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- Combine flour and cocoa in large mixing bowl with a whisk.In a mixer cream the butter and sugar.
- Add in the yogurt and blend until combined.
- Add in the flour mixture, blending just until combined.Press mixture with fingers into even layer over the bottom of the pan.
- Bake for 15 minutes.Cream butter and sugar together in a mixer.
- Add eggs, vanilla, and yogurt; blend until combined.Slowly add in flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix until combined.Stir in chocolate chips.
- Spread dough onto warm crust and bake for 30 minutes.
- Let cool at least 10 minutes.In a small saucepan combine bitter-sweet chocolate and heavy whipping cream over medium heat.Stir constantly until chocolate is melted. It should look smooth and shiny.
- Drizzle over cookie bars.
- Cut bars in 7 strips on the long side and divide into 4 sections on the shorter side of the pan.Makes 28 bars.
