Apple Walnut Squares

Ingredients: 1/4 cup apple juice,1-2 apples, cored,1/2 teaspoon cinnamon,2/3 cup chopped dried dates,1 1/2 cups quick cooking rolled oats,1/2 teaspoon salt,1/2 cup chopped walnuts,1/4 cup whole wheat flour
Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180C degrees.Coat a 8×8″ baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Let stand for 15 minutes, so the oats and flour can absorb the apple juices.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes.
  5. Cut into squares while still warm.
