Ingredients: 125g All Purpose Flour,1 teaspoon baking powder,125g Butter/ Margarine,150 – 200 g Dark Chocolate Chips,150 – 200 g Dark Chocolate Chips,4 eggs,1/4 cup orange juice,1 tablespoon orange zest,125g Caster Sugar,1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven at 180C and line a 8 inch round cake pan with a parchment paper
- Sieve the flour with baking powder and keep aside
- Cream together butter and sugar with the grated orange zest in a bowl
- Add the eggs one at a time and beat well
- Add the vanilla and orange juice to the mixture and beat for few seconds
- Next fold in the flour
- Lastly add the chocolate chips and fold the mixture twice.
- Spoon the cake mixture to the prepared 8 inch round pan
- Bake for 20- 25 minutes , or until a cake tester inserted comes out clean
- Serve it warm or cold with tea / coffee
