Cherry Upside-Down Cake (Extremely Easy to Make!)

Ingredients: 2 1/4 cup all purpose flour, sifted,1/2 teaspoon baking powder,40-45 cherries, pitted,Butter and sugar for the pan,2 regular eggs, lightly bitten,¾ cup granulated sugar,½ cup light milk,1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled,1 tsp vanilla sugar
Instructions:

  1. Coat a rectangular pan with butter; sprinkle with sugar and cover the bottom of the pan with cherries.Preheat oven to 170C.Melt the butter, sugar and vanilla in a medium sized saucepan.
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Add eggs and milk; mix well.Stir in flour and baking powder and mix lightly.
  4. Bake for approximately 40 minutes.
