Ingredients: 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed,1/4 cup brown sugar, packed,1/3 cup dark molasses,2 teaspoons Dijon mustard,1 pound dried navy beans, rinsed and soaked overnight,Kosher salt to taste,1 tablespoon liquid smoke,3/4 pound salt pork, rinsed and cut into 1/2-inch cubes (1 12- ounce package),Water to cover,1 cup chopped sweet yellow onion
Instructions:
- In a slow cooker, combine all ingredients except salt.Cover and cook on low 12 to 14 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Add salt to taste when beans are tender.
