Homemade Spiced Hummus & Pita

Ingredients: 1 cup of chickpeas,1/4 tablespoon cumin,5 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil,2 cloves garlic, crushed,1/4 tablespoon green chili pepper,1 tablespoon fresh lime juice,pita,Salt to taste,1 tablespoon tahini,3 tablespoons water
Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients (except water) in a blender or food processor.Then add the water. Blend for 3-5 minutes on low until thoroughly mixed and smooth.
  2. Place in serving bowl, and drizzle a small amount of extra virgin olive oil on top.
  3. Serve with pita.
