A classic cocktail recipe of bourbon, mint, and a little sugar served over crushed ice. This recipe was featured as part of our Kentucky Derby Day menu.
Ingredients:
- 3 sprigs fresh mint
- 1 teaspoon water
- 1 teaspoon superfine sugar
- 2 ounces bourbon
Instructions:
- 1Muddle 12 to 20 mint leaves with simple syrup or sugar in a silver julep cup, then pour in bourbon.
- 2Fill the glass with crushed ice, and garnish with more mint leaves.
