Easy Key Lime Pie

Ingredients: cup butter,3 egg yolks,1 1/4 cups finely crushed graham crackers,1/2 cup lime juice,3 tablespoons sugar, divided,14 ounces can of sweetened condensed milk,1 tablespoon water,Whipped cream
Instructions:

  1. Crust: melt butter and stir in 1/4 cup sugar.
  2. Add crushed crackers and toss to mix well.
  3. Spread evenly into a 9-inch pie plate and press onto bottom and sides. Chill 1 hour or until firm. Can also bake in a 375 degree oven for 4-5 minutes and then cool before filling.In a medium bowl, beat egg yolks with a whisk or a fork. gradually whisk/stir in condensed milk.
  4. Add lime juice, water, and a few drops of green food coloring if desired.
  5. Mixture will thicken as you stir.Spoon filling into the crust.
  6. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25 minutes and cool for 1 hour, then chill for 3-4 hours. Top with whipped cream and serve.
